"Jesus son of Joseph" (John 1:45) is the best way to refer to God-incarnate as he was called "Y'shua bar Yosef" 2,000 years ago. It was this name that was found on his ossuary in the 'Jesus Family Tomb'. http://JesusFamilyTomb.com

Y'shua ben Yosef is how his name would have been said in Hebrew 2,000 years ago. It used to be that the generally accepted common language of Jesus' day was Aramaic. Now many scholars believe that Hebrew was more common amongst the Jews.
